The traditional way to get a safety certificate involves booking your car into a workshop, dropping it off, waiting for a call, arranging a lift, then picking it up later. For most people in 2025, that's an unnecessarily complicated process. Here's why mobile inspections have become the preferred option for Brisbane and SEQ residents.
1. We Come to You — At Home, Work, or Anywhere
The most obvious benefit: you don't move the car at all. Whether you're at home, at the office, or parked at a car dealer for a pre-purchase inspection — we come to your location across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and Gold Coast. No tow trucks, no arranging lifts, no taking time off.
Especially useful if the car you're selling is already being stored off-site, or if you've just bought a vehicle interstate that can't be driven on Queensland roads yet without registration.
2. No Waiting Rooms or Workshop Queues
Popular workshops book up. It's not unusual to wait several days for an appointment at a busy suburban mechanic. We're typically able to offer same-day or next-day bookings across SEQ, with time slots from 8am to 8pm seven days a week.
3. Certificate Emailed on the Spot
As soon as the inspection is complete, your Safety Inspection Certificate is issued and emailed directly to you. No waiting for the paperwork to be filed, no returning to the workshop to collect a physical document. You have what you need immediately.
4. No Conflict of Interest
This one matters more than people realise. Many workshops make the bulk of their revenue from repairs. There's an obvious financial incentive for a workshop that both inspects and repairs to find more problems than actually exist.
We're an inspection-only service. We don't do repairs. Our only job is to give you an honest, accurate assessment of the vehicle's condition against the Queensland safety standards. If the car passes, great. If it doesn't, we tell you exactly what needs fixing — and you can take it to any workshop you choose.
5. Unattended Inspections Are Fine for Most Vehicles
You don't need to be present. For trailers and caravans, you simply leave them accessible and we do the inspection. For cars and motorcycles, we need the keys to start the engine and take a short test drive — but as long as keys are accessible, you don't need to stand there and wait. We'll email the result when we're done.
This makes mobile inspections particularly convenient for people selling vehicles privately — book us in, leave the keys with a neighbour or in a lockbox, and get on with your day.
💡 Multiple vehicles? We regularly inspect fleet vehicles, dealership stock, and multiple private cars on the same day. Contact us for bulk booking options.
