About Our New Chum Service
Our inspectors are fully licensed and cover the complete range of vehicles — from your everyday hatchback through to prestige cars, off-road 4WDs, modified vehicles, motorbikes, scooters, and trailers. We also provide Uber and DiDi COI certificates for rideshare drivers, plus defect clearance inspections for vehicles with outstanding defect notices.
For New Chum residents, the booking process is simple: choose your time online, we show up, we inspect, we email your certificate. That's it. We operate 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm, and we often have same-day availability. Whether you stay home or leave us to it, we'll get it done and get the paperwork to you straight away.
Honest, Unbiased Inspections
Our inspectors carry no tools for repairs and no list of services to upsell you on. We come, we check, we report — that's the whole job. If something doesn't pass, you'll get a clear, detailed explanation of what needs attention and why. Then you take it to a mechanic of your choice, get it sorted, and rebook us for the re-inspection.
Fully Licensed Safety Certificates
All Tick It Roadworthies safety certificates are issued under Authorised Inspection Station AIS 12673 and are fully recognised by Queensland Transport. Whether you're selling a vehicle, transferring registration, or re-registering an unregistered vehicle in New Chum, our certificate meets all legal requirements.
