About Our Windaroo Service
Tick It Roadworthies handles all vehicle types in Windaroo: cars, SUVs, 4x4s, utes, vans, light trucks, motorcycles, scooters, motortrikes, trailers, camper trailers, and caravans — including electric and hybrid vehicles, prestige builds, and modified vehicles, all under 4.5 tonnes. We also issue Uber and DiDi Certificates of Inspection and handle defect clearance inspections.
The inspection process in Windaroo is straightforward. Once you book online and select your preferred time, our inspector travels to your location. The inspection takes around 30–60 minutes depending on vehicle type. Once complete, your certificate is emailed directly to you — usually before we've even left your driveway. You don't need to be home; unattended inspections are fine as long as we have access to the vehicle and keys.
Honest, Unbiased Inspections
Our inspectors are assessors, not mechanics. They come with inspection equipment, not repair tools, which means there's never any incentive to find problems that don't exist or miss things that do. If your vehicle passes, you get your certificate on the spot. If it doesn't, you get a clear report that tells you exactly what needs fixing so you can take it to your own mechanic.
Fully Licensed Safety Certificates
Our inspection station is licenced as AIS 12673 by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. Every safety certificate we issue is a legally valid Queensland document, accepted for registration renewal, private vehicle sales, and resolution of defect notices.
