About Our Lota Service
Tick It Roadworthies handles all vehicle types in Lota: cars, SUVs, 4x4s, utes, vans, light trucks, motorcycles, scooters, motortrikes, trailers, camper trailers, and caravans — including electric and hybrid vehicles, prestige builds, and modified vehicles, all under 4.5 tonnes. We also issue Uber and DiDi Certificates of Inspection and handle defect clearance inspections.
Once you've booked a time that suits you, an inspector travels to your Lota location at the scheduled time. The inspection itself runs approximately 30–60 minutes. Your safety certificate is emailed to you as soon as we're done — no waiting for paperwork to come through the post. Unattended bookings are perfectly fine; just leave keys accessible and we'll handle the rest.
Honest, Unbiased Inspections
Our inspectors are assessors, not mechanics. They come with inspection equipment, not repair tools, which means there's never any incentive to find problems that don't exist or miss things that do. If your vehicle passes, you get your certificate on the spot. If it doesn't, you get a clear report that tells you exactly what needs fixing so you can take it to your own mechanic.
Fully Licensed Safety Certificates
Our inspection station is licenced as AIS 12673 by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. Every safety certificate we issue is a legally valid Queensland document, accepted for registration renewal, private vehicle sales, and resolution of defect notices.
